Recent Advances in the Reutilization of Granite Waste in Various Fields

Quarrying and processing of granite produce large amounts waste residues. Besides being a loss resources, improper disposal these wastes results in pollution the soil, water air around dumpsites. The main components are quartz, feldspars small amount biotite. Due to its hard dense texture, high strength, corrosion resistance wear resistance, may be recycled into building materials, composite materials fine ceramics, effectively improving their mechanical properties durability. By using flotation process, value-added products such as potash feldspar albite retrieved from waste. Also, has potential for application soil remediation sewage treatment.
